Yes Sir, right now I am also feeling the same, as I might have overpaid in a hurry.

But as these days many guys are buying directly from the Dell India website, and there too they have to pay the complete listed price, so I thought that maybe this is a new trend starting in India, where the companies might be printing the REAL COMPETITIVE price on the box itself, so I paid the MRP for this sony laptop.

Otherwise I also have this experience that MRP is meaningless in regard to PC components, as I have always been paying less then the MRP in the past.

But maybe that this thing is going to change now ... as Dell and Sony laptops are being sold at MRP
