Hello

I plotted the KBrain on the chart I use to draw my swinging trading line, and the fun part was almost all the trades match with my afl, well almost but not all :hehe:

http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/985...mysandline.png

The two trades marked with red circle are the ones that gave me a wipsaw, but they were avoided by KBrain.

And its quite a coincidence that I started my Journal here on IT with these very trades marked by the red circle, all the other trades that followed are also duely recorded on the journal, talk of synchronicity

Now that we have the code, it would be nice if Karthik you can throw-in some enlightenment about how it works, not really successful in doing anything other than changing colors and arrows on the afl

Thanks :risehat:

Raja

In a nut shell the system basically uses the william % R to determine the Trend. WR above a certain value is considered uptrend and below a certain value as downtrend. The stop is ATR based. The concept is also used in ASC trend system.
Brain Trading system is a commercial package. Explanation of this commercial system concept is not available on the net. This work is based on Braintrend system clones basically done by Russian forex traders. Most interesting stuff on trading systems are found on Russian forums. They have done some great work on these. :risehat: to these guys.

regards

Hi Kartik,
.
Can we use two variation of paramters on KBrain one for taking position and one to book partial profit, because its a general rule after a big movement opposite trend is always week(80% ) times , what if you can add this variation.

Thanks karthik for spending your valuable time for small traders like us, really a great effort.
kindly guide me what period should I use for hourly chart for nifty? i.e Period 14 is fixed for all time frame or I should change it.I failed to back test it. Please guide.
