Default RSI EMA cross

Hi Guys, Im currently usuing the below AFL for RSI in Ami 6.2

_SECTION_BEGIN("RSI styleClipMinMax");
SetChartOptions(0,0,chartGrid30|chartGrid50|chartG rid70);
periods = Param( "Periods", 12, 1, 200, 1 );
maxClip = Param( "maxClip", 70, 1, 100, 1 );
minClip = Param( "minClip", 30, 1, 100, 1 );
Upper=Param("Upper", 70, 50, 100, 1);
Lower=Param("Lower", 30, 0, 50, 1);

Plot(Upper,"Upper",ParamColor( "ColorUpper", colorRed ),styleLine);
Plot(Lower,"Lower",ParamColor( "ColorLower", colorGreen ),styleLine);

Plot( RSI( periods), _DEFAULT_NAME(), ParamColor( "Color", colorCycle ), ParamStyle("Style") );

r = RSI(periods);
PlotOHLC( r,r,50,r, "", IIf( r > 50, colorRed, colorBrightGreen ), styleCloud | styleNoLabel | styleClipMinMax, minClip, maxClip );

_SECTION_END();

;

Can some one please help add an EMA with adjustable periods in the AFL, when I drag n drop into the box the EMA does not show.

muchas gracias

CAR

minClip = Param( "minClip", 30, 1, 100, 1 );
Upper=Param("Upper", 70, 50, 100, 1);
Lower=Param("Lower", 30, 0, 50, 1);
emaofrsi = Param("moving average", 10,3,200,1);
emarsi = EMA(RSI(periods),emaofrsi);

Plot(Upper,"Upper",ParamColor( "ColorUpper", colorRed ),styleLine);
Plot(Lower,"Lower",ParamColor( "ColorLower", colorGreen ),styleLine);

Plot( RSI( periods), _DEFAULT_NAME(), ParamColor( "Color", colorCycle ), ParamStyle("Style") );
Plot( emarsi, _DEFAULT_NAME(), ParamColor( "emaColor", colorCycle ), ParamStyle("Style") );

r = RSI(periods);
PlotOHLC( r,r,50,r, "", IIf( r > 50, colorRed, colorBrightGreen ), styleCloud | styleNoLabel | styleClipMinMax, minClip, maxClip );

Dos RSI and EMA periodicity differs with different stocks? If so, how do you determine the periodicities for that particular stock?

"YES'.
I wanted to learn, understand & couple the RSI as a secondary factor.

And if you are looking for any tertiary factor then what is that going to be?
I tried to combine several indicators and all came up with varying success results, none being satisfactory.
What made you choose EMA and RSI ?

RSI is an oscillator where the crude concept is number of up days & number of down days,
EMI is a moving average of Price, out of many varieties of Moving Avg exponential is more forward biased (of the period/number of days).
Now 2 different things, both presenting price in 2 different formats, one the RSI taking up vs down days, one taking price's avg, here in exponential more forward loaded.
One can make an RSI of the EMA but in BEARISH phase/Wave RSI will always be below 30 and any pullback (as being Exponential in character )the reaction would be faster but how can we say that price is trying to Reverse towards Mean,(which actually is a Selling opportunity) or phase/wave has changed direction ? So wouldn't it be a futile exercise.
I have seen people using the other way that is Up vs Dn days & a simple moving average of that can give a static fig for two days denoting a temporary Pivot point formed which can work as minor Res/ Supp.
For you to understand (made this just now )am attaching a Nifty Fut 10 mins chart, where you can see RSI can be STATIC denoting a minor Res/Supp , but quest has to be yours no spoon feeding by giving this code.
