Can you replicate the behavior if you do not append the real time data.
  • In Main View toolbar goto Settings>Options
  • Click on the Data tab
  • Uncheck the option "Append Realtime data"

Now, please try replicating the behavior.

Vinay,
Please follow the below steps to resolve the scenario
  • In Main View please goto New > Sharp Script > Edit
  • In the File Dialog view, select any script, and click on the Ok button which will open up the script editor
  • In the Sharp Script Editor View click on the Compile button ({} button) or press F5

this will give the list of errors and you will find the name of the offending script. Please resolve the coding error in the offending script or delete the offending script to resolve the scenario.

Please refer to this YouTube video which further demonstrates it.

Please refer to this post
http://www.arthachitra.com/support/f...&t=18&p=25#p25

Please do restart ArthaChitra after you import the zip file

P.S. - You can modify the xaml file further to suit your needs.

The Strange thing is that i can not import any cs or xml files thru the settings/Sharp Script/Import. all the indis i had added is thru New/Sharp Script/New and then edited the indis. in some cases errors creep.
similarly in the case of candlestick.xml same thing and it cant be added

any solution

hello,
you can manually unzip the candlestick.zip file and physically copy/paste the Candlestick.xaml file to the folder ~\My Documents\ArthaChitra 1\Xaml Resource\ChartStyle

To resolve any compilation errors please refer to this post
ArthaChitra feedback

Hi Joy,

Can i use VS2012 Express for sharp script development ?
Because i find its confusing and time taking to write Xaml manually/editing.

I guess directly working thru VSs Xaml project would be easy.

If yes, can u suggest what i need to reference for AC from VS ?

Yes, you can.

Reference the SharpCharts.Base.dll that will be enough.

Basically you need to know the property names (which you need to bind). I will be coming out with some documentation about the class etc.

P.S. - I would suggest using VS2013 instead of VS2012.

Well i just upgraded 2010 Express to 2012 Express.

finding binding would not make much burden to me, rather its interface part which i need quick access.
