better commenting support is perhaps the one of the main reason why I suggested vs2013

havent tested however for xaml, it will be fine. free softwares like kaxaml is also a good option if one does not wants to install VS.

if you want to refer any assembly please make sure you target the 4.5.1 framework.

Joy,

I notice little mismatching here, (as i got in Bollinger band combo box populating current applied MA not showing ), as workspace was saved with SMA and with PlotStyle as "Triangle". If we open indicator selector dialogue then SMA ( and perhaps other indi too ) plot settings are not getting populated with currently selected rather they are getting "swastika" from plot constructor.

Default Moving/Copying from one laptop to another.

As in case of NT, for moving/copying from one m/c to another i generally take fastest way like,

1) Install NT on destination m/c.
2) Move/Copy "NinjaTrader7" folders each from Document and from Program Files from source m/c to destination m/c.

This way everything gets replicate from source to destination without any other tinkering.
But i tried the same with AC and got this crash on destination when i start.

Can you suggest any other simple procedure to copy/move ArthaChitra from source to destination m/c. Doing every process on new m/c is time consuming.

Do not copy the Program Files folder, rather please try installing ArthaChitra.
http://www.arthachitra.com/Download.aspx

You can copy the ~\Documents\ArthaChitra 1\ folder.

You may encounter compilation error due to the reference mismatch. Just remove and replace the erroneous references.

Please do make sure .net framework 4.5.1 is installed and SQL server 2012 localdb is installed.

N.B. - ArthaChitra does not runs in Windows XP

1). I dont think this make much difference if i used previously saved installation file from old m/c and then installed that in new m/c. Had done that and now done this also -> fresh download and install. AC is still crashing. I noticed and guessed it was cause of WorkSpace saved in source m/c so i removed workspace related both files Default.xml and UISettings.xml. Now it managed to open this time and holds.

You can copy the ~\Documents\ArthaChitra 1\ folder.

2). Had done this too, only copying Doc Folder leaving Program Folder from new installation, but not worked.

You may encounter compilation error due to the reference mismatch. Just remove and replace the erroneous references.

3). Now after getting success in opening as from step 1, i compiled an indicator which were already now from source m/c, compilation goes without any error.
But now when i try to open the chart of any instrument ( which are already showing here in destination m/c. ) ArthaChitra crashes.
So perhaps this might be the problem of Data.

Please do make sure .net framework 4.5.1 is installed and SQL server 2012 localdb is installed.

4). Obviously both are there on destination m/c.

Yes,

I removed all data files from Data folder , now charts are opening but balnk
It was the data which i wanted on destination m/c. Hope you understand my point.

P.S. I downloded google data for Instrument present from destination m/c.
In data folder data got downloaded but opening chart with this new data is still crashing as before.
