I beg to differ...

In case of previous example (Reliance mobile with pricetag of 500/-) as well as yours (ecommerce), both were 'emerging' and new markets. Lot of money was spent to study their growth potential in advance. In our case, it is an 'established' and 'niche' market. So I feel the dynamics are different and cannot be compared with ECom or Mobile.

Anyway, as 'sridharla3' pointed out, time will tell how things unfold...
