Default Download: Watchlists for amibroker(sectorwise and indexwise) of important NSE stocks

Date: 21 Feb 2010
Sectorwise and Indexwise watchlists for Amibroker

Click here to download. Includes read-me file.

How to use: Copy all files from "tls files" folders and paste them into "Watchlists" folder on your Amibroker database.
The "Watchlist" folder can be found "\AmiBroker\YOUR DATABASE\WatchLists"

Files beginning with '^'(Ex: ^S&P CNX Nifty.tls) contain constituents of indices with name of the index as file name.
Other files beginning with an alphabet/number contain major representative stocks from various industries/sectors with name of the sector/industry as file name.

Note on major representative stocks from various industries/sectors:
Only those stocks which are part of IISL indices(NSE) are included in this file. Other stocks are NOT included.
IISL indices can be found here: NSE - Major Indices
Stocks have to been allocated to industries/sectors "as allocated by NSE".

Please help me to set up NSE sector wise database. Pasting .tls file in watch list folder I am getting all tickers beautifully arranged in watch list ,but I failed to get these under their corresponding SECTORS tree.
I have used an afl which is enclosed herewith for the purpose but it assign ticker in wrong sectors. I have tried by changing the default value of WL number but failed to get correct database.
Attached Files
File Type: afl x_categoryaddsymbols-v2.afl (780 Bytes, 17 views)
