Can we use NSE now also, in the same fashion?
NSE NOW also sends data to excel.

Hi RohitB,

Thanks a lot for solving DDE link which we could not do successfully and stopped trying.

Can we use Open Office excel instead of Ms Office excel?

how many stocks we can maintain?

didnt try open office... and the limit is of the number of scrips u can add to ur market watch of diet odin

i m a sub broker i got around 500 scrips limit

nayaabpetiwala pls do the same steps instead of odin u have NOW and if that allows you to open data in excel then no issue

I think back fill can be achieved by opening intraday chart and save the chart as excel and then import the excel sheet to amibroker. But this has to be automated i presume.

one way is that what you say but we need to write a program for that

How about start recording the macros while you do the lengthy process and then save that macro. Next time just we have to run that macro..
