Here is the link for downloading NSE-EOD data upto 01-07-2014. The data is only for EQ series stocks. This data is in Text format (ASCII) which can be directly read into Ami or MS. The fields are: SYMBOL, Company Name(Full Name), Date, Open, High, Low, Close and Volume. This data is from Jan 1, 2009 to 1 july 2014. Almost all data is Split/Bomus adjusted. A few might have escaped my attention. There are are also some which can not be adjusted for following reasons:

1) Merger/acquisition/demerger where the exact division is not available.
2) Rights issues when the premium is not in line with market price.
3) Unusually high dividends. Some company has given a dividend of as high as Rs 500 per share and the price got adjusted for this high dividend. In such cases the correction can not be applied.

A few companies have changed name or Symbol. I have tried to incorporate these changes and the scrips are included with their new names, even for older data.

Any errors if found may be reported to me so that I can correct them.

Here is the download link:

NSE-EOD upto 1-7-2014

Quandl is growing fast! Here are some improvements we've made recently:

New Databases

We've expanded the data coverage and completely rewritten the documentation for a number of our free open databases: UNDATA, WHO, FAO, FRED, BLS and more. We continue to add new open data to Quandl; we're now at nearly 12 million datasets.

New Features

Itís now much easier to explore our full range of financial and economic data with the new and improved data collections browser.

If you use the Quandl Excel addin, we recommend installing the latest version; it's faster.

New Vendors

We continue to add professional-grade premium databases to the site. We now have end-of-day stock data, stock fundamentals and yield curves, all at a higher quality and lower price than any comparable alternative. See all our premium data offerings on our vendors page.

Quandl in the News

The Wall Street Journal wrote a nice article about Quandl, highlighting our philosophy of making data easy to find and easy to use.
You might also like our new about page, which describes our mission and talks a bit more about the company.

Thanks for using Quandl. Any questions, any time: connect@quandl.com

best regards,
Tammer Kamel
CEO
