India should use 10% of the forex reserves for building infra That will perhaps keep the US happy too.

While the report is a world bank report, I have serious doubts about the quality of the report. The report has a lot of points awarded for a big jump under the heading for ease in the ease of paying taxes. I dont know who made that report, but that person clearly never had to deal with GST.

The way it has been implemented, GST is a nightmare even if you are a honest tax paying citizen.

I cant understand how paying taxes has actually become easier.

I never express my political standing in this Forum, for that i use Fb, one point i cant resist to raise here.Adhar is to be linked with bank a/c s latest by 31st Dec 2017.All of us have already done that.Where is my bio-metric data? at the third part's Hard Disk, who conducted on behalf of Govt. One of that third party is from USA, so mine & your a/c RUNS a Risk of misappropriation.Supreme Court is scheduled to hear this case in March !!! After everything done by Govt, now suppose verdict is against Govt. will Govt Destroy all our vital data IN FRONT of us, NO.Suppose any of us lands up with Fraud, will Govt stand LIABLE again a Big No.The onus is on you & me to prove that i have paid my tax in time still ANYTIME the bank a/c can be frozen by any excuse by any govt agency like IT/ED etc.We will run through lower court to higher court to PROVE am honest taxpayer but anti-govt, hence first logic premises is Asish is anti-BJP hence he MUST be a CHOR.is this not more Draconian then Emergency by Cong.
How much % of our Population is Tax Payer till date ten times that number is ALREADY linked with bank etc now even Internet wallas want Adhar! but as per Constitution Adhar is NOT accepted as VALID only valid is Epic Card/Passport etc, not Adhar.
Whenever i check-in Hotel while on official Tour i always ask for the xerox copy of Identity they have taken & write on that this is only for verification, because somebody in Imphal or Coimbatore may open an a/c with that in MY NAME so i also pay 750/= to CIBIL so that am informed immediately of any other bank a/c ,this is actually Acchye Din. because Onus is on ME NOW not on Govt if any fraud happens !!
