Default Best way to learn forex trading?

Hey
I would like to start trading in foreign exchange, and I am looking for tips on how to get started with forex trading? I have looked at some of the trading platforms out there, and they seem quite complex and intimidating. Your help would be appreciated.

Dear MarryJohnson,

First of all...

:

Before selecting any platform for FX trading, you should be clear with the basics of Fx market. If you are not, please visit the thread in my signature. If you are, then do some research on FX platforms. I would suggest FXCM and Oanda for their Java based platforms. Get a demo account opened with them first and get yourself comfortable with the operations of the platform and then go ahead.

Happy Pipping

Mt4 is a charting software. A java based platform is the first step to get yourself acquainted with the quotes of Forex, as you are able to watch both bid and ask in live environment. However, it is not a requirement. You can start with Mt4 directly.

Probably the other forum is ahead than us in Forex. Forex is an attractive investment avenue and Indians wont stay behind too long before accepting it out in open. Already there are uncountable number of Forex traders in India.

Nonetheless, lets not use this thread to discuss what "Other Forums" are up to. Lets keep the discussion to forex here.
