If your gfx card has 1 vga and 1 hdmi port, then you should in most cases be able to run both the ports at the same time. This is how a multi monitor setup works. On a modern system, depending on the type of graphics chip on your motherboard, you may or may not be able to use the vga port of the motherboard. I have had 2 desktops @ home which supported running both the onboard and addon graphics chips.

Guys please advise me too . I have few spare flat panel monitors. One of them I want to use as TV in trading office at first floor.
The main TV is on the ground floor with Tatasky. Questions 1_What equipment do I require to use with the monitor to hook up with Tatasky either parallel viewing (means same programme as on main TV) or standalone (I understand need parallel connection from Tatasky). |

the 3 rca/hdmi must be connected to the ground floor tv right... take the rf out from tatasky with a normal tv cable & u will need a cheap external tv tuner... if it works, u can extend that cable to 1st floor... else split the 3 rca...
