How much money has been withdrawn to reduce 5 lakh crore?
I sometimes feel all this financials are jugglery.
I think their should be a new way of defining market cap .A 5 billion company for 1 million withdrawl lost its market cap by 1 billion has something wrong at its basic.

No money is withdrawn - for every seller there is a buyer.
So, when some sells Rs 1000 crore worth of shares, someone is buying Rs 1000 crore worth of those shares.
