Default Convert 1 minute data into 5 minute data in Metastock

Dear Indis,

Good Evening (10.48 PM of Sunday)

Attached pdf file itself describes how to compress (convert) 1 minute metastock data into 5 minute metastock Data with help of MS & MS Downloader (because MS Downloader alone can't do it). U can Compress (convert) 1 min data into any greater Timeframe. I applied it successfully to compress (convert) 1 min copper data to 5 min copper data.

Its little time consuming (tidious) task but target achieved.

have a great tomorrow

tkamal

theres a app called msconv which can do the trick. it basically converts ascii files in ms format to higher timeframes.

first convert the ms data file to ascii file using the downloader. then use msconv to convert the ascii files. the settings in the pic are ok. just select the directory where the ascii file are and then click on process.
