PREV. DAY'S CLOSE Ref(C,-1)

looking for code to compare with previous hours close (instead of comparing to previous days close)

PREV function is for previous period - that did not mention previous day or hour or minute - so it can be used for previous hour also .
Note : " The PREV constant allows you to create self referencing formula .Avoid using PREV variable as a data array as it slows down the calculation . "

Thanx sunshine for your response.

the problem is that if i run the exploration @ 12:30 pm today, the comparison does not happen with the 11:30 hourly candle close. Instead happens with yesterdays 3:30 candle close.

Would appreciate your help and input to correct the same.

There is no indicator or predefined study of A/D ratio in MS . However search the net or MS forum for solution
