Any contention on this? :-

Demand > Supply => Price Up
Demand < Supply => Price Down

deliverable volume is a ratio, you are absolutely right,no contention in that,
but my mistake, i should have posted it as supply and demand not as supply/demand.....miscommunication
so IMO volume leads price....

Price cannot be both the cause AND the effect IMHO

Time is important dimension in above ratio, price will move down despite higher demand because of fear factor/liquidity etc and after SOME TIME they will catch the inventory and start reversing up, but when it will happen is very critical question, during that time equation may look like -
Demand > supply = Price down

yes if you look into accumulation and distribution pattern, one can know how with time the pros mark down or up the price.
