We want to earn money by trading or show our face at TV channels as a Technical Analyst.
A almost non-descript cricketer ,many a times get the task of COACHING a master batsman like Sachin or Rahul or Sourav.The ACTUAL performer when faces the ball at crease ,when the back drop of the innings may be 2 for 28 ,their in front of him ONLY objective is to SUSTAIN & GATHER RUNS.
He knows the heat of the situation is how nerve wrecking the vice like gnawing tension,at that precise moment even in a split of a second (which he takes for shot selection) he NEVER fails the (ability of chart reading OR coaching).He DELIVERS or FAILS.
Hence now you can guess what is the role of Technicals (where the front foot is to be ....deciding while looking at the grip ,prior to delivery,anticipating the pitch of the ball,where it will land at which area) but execution of the shot is SOLELY on the batsman's ability ,his uncanny timing,his shift of balance while the bat is making contact with the ball,is SOLELY his MASTERY.


So now decide whether we want to become a Coach (Technical Analyst) or a run getter batsman (the trader).

It's precisely because we're traders that we have to worry about things like what happens to RIL & the mkts on Monday etc. (translates into how much do i lose in my longs this series etc.)

Otherwise based on earnings expectations (or what Prechter calls 'investor mood') 18k is a certainty for the Sensex this FY.

Now let's see if that translates into reality.
